Little cowboy

Luke and I went to Marshfield this weekend to visit my family. Saturday night we went over to my brother's house for a barbecue and yes I ate to much. Anyway my brother has some horses and he asked Luke if he want to ride a horse. Well Luke was very excited and very much wanted to. That was until he actually got on one and it started moving. Then he decided that it wasn't as much fun as he thought it would be. Ryker however loved it. Then again I have yet to see Ryker unhappy about anything. :)

 

 

Luke's Park

For Luke's 2nd birthday Bryan and I along with both sets of grandparents got him a playset for the backyard. When ever Luke see's it, he always says "Luke's park". He just loves it and plays on it all day long. You can see in some of the pictures below that Luke was helping daddy build it, but that's pretty much all the help dad got. Bryan had it put together in a couple days and he worked really hard on it. You can see the finished product and a couple pics of Luke playing.

Little cousin Ryker

My sister-in-law Rainy sent me these pictures this morning and I thought they were so cute I wanted to share them with everyone. Doesn't he just have the prettiest eyes. :)

 

I'm bragging

Ok, so I'm going to brag on my little man. Luke loves drawing and coloring. He also loves his macadoodle (I think that's what it's called), he will sit and draw on it all the time. He is always asking me to draw a trucks, cars, buses, tractors, etc... The other day he was sitting in the floor drawing as usually and this is what he was drawing over and over, while telling me it was Mommy's car. Now I think that's pretty good for a 2 year old. :)

 

2nd Birthday

We had Luke's b-day party this weekend since next weekend will be Mother's Day. Luke had a great time! First all the kids meet at the fire station and got to go on a tour of the fire trucks. They were allowed to get in a drive and crawl all over the trucks. All the kids had a blast and really got a kick out of it. Next we went back to the house and had cake and ice cream. It got a little crowded in the house, since we all had to stay inside because of the rain. But all in all I think things went pretty well. :) Here are a couple pics.
